I purchased two of these with no reviews on the product. They are beautiful, wood, color, and very sturdy. I put the cabinets together by myself and the only tricky part was installing the doors alone. Make sure you follow the instructions in the steps provided. I thought it would be easier to install the shelves last since they are adjustable. Don’t do that! You will have to remove a door to get them in. The thin backing slides into groves and you really have to push that down to get them flush with the top. I was afraid to put a lot of strength into pushing them down, but you really need to in order to get them to slide all the way in. As with many cabinets like this, it takes some trial and error to get the doors flushed and aligned. Make sure you play with the screws on each hinge to raise, lower and bring closer together. They don’t mention anything about it in the instructions. The doors do not have a handle but open easily with a push magnet mechanism. If you are trying to fit any shoes bigger than a men’s size ten, you will have to get creative with fitting them inside. You can remove a shelf for taller boots, but booties and high tops do fit snuggly on the bottom, exposed shelf.
