Louvered Shoe Cabinet with Drawer

I do want to start off saying I am OBSESSED with how this cabinet looks. It is SO CUTE and perfect for our space. It fits lots of shoes and feels high quality. The doors are soft-close which I love as well.Now, onto the putting it together...These instructions were some of the most complicated I have ever seen! It took me about 6 hours total to put the entire thing together. I needed a second person to help put the doors on as well. The instructions have very small images so you can't quite see how things are installed and where screws go in (some go in where there are no holes).

This was not easy to put together. But it turned out very nice and looks great in the bedroom.

Overall: functional, looks nice & serves its purpose fairly well for under $200CONS: Brown color is more orangey than pictured. Waiting on an extra piece from manufacturer bc the metal drawer track came damaged. Everything connects with those long screw& plastic pieces that screws into one side and then sticks out enough to insert into the corresponding hole on the opposite piece where you then use that small round metal piece that does a half turn to lock the screw in place. Common in a lot of the cheap engineered wood DIY units. It also comes with hardware to harness the unit to the wall. Expect to use that harness bc of his is a taller unit and is not very stable. Bc of how it needs to be put together I doubt it can be more stable.PROS: All that being said, it fits a decent amount of shoes (3 men’s boots, 3 men’s sneakers, 3 women’s sandals, 6 kids sneakers), looks nice, has slats in the doors so your shoes can breathe, and has a drawer at the top which I find beneficial as any entry piece to keep the dog leash etc in. The manufacturer was quick to respond and is sending out a new track so I can finish putting the drawer together. If the color were actually brown I’d have given a 4star. The media unit I have in the background is more the brown I expected based on the photos. But even my phone cools down the colors of everything so it’s hard to show the true color properly.

We love this cabinet! It was challenging to put together and we had some major doubts during assembly if this will even stand straight, but we stuck on online and written instructions and it worked. It looks really elegant and so far no issues.

Assembly is very entailed and it took me 4-5 hours to assemble by myself, but so far it’s a solid piece. It looks like a nicer quality piece for a decent price. In addition, I purchased some waterproof shelf liner to go on the inside for each shelf and it’s a nice touch that protects the furniture from water damage by wet shoes.Capacity is great. I can fit 15 pairs of shoes (16-18 if they’re flip flops/slides/low profile. And you can adjust the shelf height to accommodate boots. I will mention that the top shelf will be a fixed height because the top 1-2 hole options are useless, due to the front door attachment points.Having a top drawer was a must for me with storing items used for walking dogs, car keys, wallets, etc that I don’t want cluttering countertops. And it adds a lot to keeping the space by the front door low profile.Overall, I’m very pleased.
